Ronald McDonald House Charities New York Tri-State Area is governed by a Board of Trustees, comprising health professionals, business and civic leaders and McDonald’s corporate officers, Owner/Operators and suppliers. Our Board reviews, selects and awards grants to nonprofit organizations that have demonstrated an ability to respond to the needs of children in a manner that yields measurable results.
Beginning December 2, 2017, Letters of Interest (LOIs) may be submitted by interested organizations. Please review our Community Grants – Guidelines for Giving before proceeding, to ensure that your request is consistent with the mission and goals of the RMHC NYTSA Community Grants Program. LOIs will be reviewed by our Board. Organizations will subsequently be informed if the Board wishes that organization to make a full application.
All Board decisions regarding grant applications are communicated by mail. If your organization’s grant application is approved, your organization will receive a formal letter of agreement, outlining the terms and conditions of the grant. That letter must be signed by an authorized organization official and returned to us. A grant award check will be sent to your organization upon our receipt of your signed letter of agreement. RMHC NYTSA asks that appropriate recognition of our grant to your organization be given in the form of a plaque or other signage, a check presentation and/or a press release
